Hello, Lesli Joe.
I found your earlier blog – Daily Notions – while doing some family history searches on Google. I am a distant cousin of yours and an active member of the Church as well. Both you and I descend from John Nye and Charlotte Osborne – you through son #1, John Sylvestus Nye, and me through son #2, James Nye.
Any chance that you have descendancy information (with details) from him OR at least from your grandfather Afton? I would really appreciate anything you could provide me down to the living generation. I would be happy to share other information that I have with you.

A wonderful tribute to Mom, Lesli. I had read this several times before, but I’m just getting a little braver in knowing how to work the computer! Mom is definitely an anchor in my life, if I can only follow her example,then I’ll feel that I’m on the right path. What an amazing and beautiful lady Mom is. Thank you Lesli for this tribute.

Hi Lesli, I just saw this post. I love it, and didn’t realize the effect it would have on me when I saw the door with Dad’s name. Tears definitely came to the surface. Could I have a copy of all the pictures on a disk or something? I would be more than happy to pay you for it.Thanks so much for taking the pictures. I took some myself, but for some reason I can’t get the chip to work, none of the pictures will come up. I’m sad.
