Sunset Thunderstorm

Last night the Salt Lake Valley had a short burst of a thunderstorm.  As I looked out my window, I noticed this beautiful diffused golden light, as can only happen with the sunset and clouds.  I grabbed my camera and took some quick shots before my camera got too wet.  Here are the views.  I had to do some creative cropping since I live in suburbia, but they aren’t too bad.  It is the color was was really after.

All of these were taken within 30 seconds of each other. Amazing how much range of light there can be in the sky.

I was lucky enough to be out at this hour and see this! It was DIVINE! Glad you got some shots of it. Sorry you didn’t get the job, but I’m sure everything happens for a reason… will you apply for the other positions they told you about?

I love how the view from the east looks like it’s almost on fire!
