The Vampire Diaries

Okay, okay – I just have to say it – I LOVE The Vampire Diaries – curse you Twilight for getting my into all these vampire shows.

But VD is so much better than Twilight.  Oh, is it ever!  The season finale was last Thursday and ever since then I have been wanting to talk to anyone and everyone about it.  I have talked to two students about it (and it is pretty pathetic that I’m resorting to talking to students about this).

Here is Alena – she loves a vampire (or two?).

This is Damon.  He almost died in the season finale.  Mandy tells me he was on a little show called Lost, but I don’t really watch that.

Here is Damon and his vampire brother Stephan.  Damon is the bad vampire, while Stephan is the good vampire.  Oh, the drama.  Oh, the angst.  I love, I simply love.

But, Stephan has a dark side as well.  He “slips” a little bit, but gets it back together.

I just can’t tell you how good it is.  I can’t wait for it to come on DVD and I can’t wait for the next season.  Not only are there vampires, but there are witches and werewolves.

Oh, man, I’m pathetic.  But I just had to share.
