The Pioneer Woman did another Photography Assignment this week. The theme – Landscapes.
I was blown away by the competition. She needs to choose more semi-finalist for today and tomorrow, but I don’t think I will be chosen. Sigh. A lot of the photos look like they are done by serious professional photographers. Many of them have the photographer’s logo on them. Ummm, yeah, that’s not me. Not professional. Just working on getting better. If you want to see the one’s she chose, click here. If you want to see all the photos submitted, click here.
Here are my photos that I submitted.
This was taken just last week at the City of Rocks, Idaho. I’ll be doing a post about it later.
View of Mount Timpanogous from the Salt Lake Valley.
City of Rocks, Idaho. I don’t know these people, but loved them and their matching red coats.
The Wasatch Front Mountains. I took this out by the Kenecott Copper Mine on the old Bingham Highway, West of Herriman.
City of Rocks, Idaho. Window Rock.
Columbia River Gorge. This is about 20 minutes from my parents’ house.
I could submit one more, but I think I’m done with being rejected. However, I don’t think these photos are bad, but when you look at the ones being submitted, well . . . lets just say that I need some practice.
PS – do you see all the black and white? I think I’m under the influence of Ansel.

That City of Rocks place looks beautiful.
And, I’m sorry that you don’t win competitions. But I’m really glad that you share your beautiful pictures with us.
