My baby cousin Jared got married! That officially makes me the last one on that side of the family to be single. I am also the only girl. Weird. I haven’t seen my cousins Jared, Jason, and my aunt Brenda, and uncle Mike for close to 9 years. Pretty sad. I’m glad that we were able to go to the wedding and spend time with family.
It was a fancy wedding. It was at a hotel in Melbourne, Florida. I think it was the Hilton Crown Royal, but I don’t really remember. The ceremony was outside in a gazebo that looked over the ocean.
Ahhh, beautiful! Too bad it was a little cold.
Then we moved to a tent that was set up for the dinner reception.

Cutting the cake. They didn’t smoosh it in each other’s faces. By the way – isn’t the lace on Emily’s dress gorgeous! I tried to get a better picture, but it just didn’t come out right.
My cousin Jason and his wife Kim. Jason was the best man and gave the best man toast. Kim was a bride’s maid. (Is it still called that when you are married? Bride’s matron? No that doesn’t sound quite right.)
This is Kasidy (I might have spelled that wrong.) She is Jason and Kim’s little girl. She was the flower girl.

My mom and dad. It is a little fuzzy. Also, I don’t think I have ever gotten a good picture of both of them at the same time. One of them is always looking a different direction, talking, or not smiling. Here is another example.
It was a lovely night. I really liked it. It was really cold though. It is a good thing that I don’t get cold easily. I bet Emily was freezing!
In case you were wondering, my dad, uncle Bob, and aunt Brenda are the ones who are related. Can you see the likeness? I really can’t.

Two things:
1–I love the shot of the champagne glass. Well done.
2–I was looking at the pictures of your relatives thinking, I wonder who is related. I decided definitely Uncle Bob and your dad look alike, and then I decided on Brenda because Mike doesn’t look like the other 2 men…..and then I read on and you told me. So either I’m a great detective or a huge waster of time because I could have just read on to see. And I guess I can kind of see the similarities between them.
I too stopped to try to figure out the relatives, then was happy to read the answers. But even without the answers I was sure that Aunt Brenda was related because I think she looks a lot like you. I couldn’t have said which of your parents she looked like, but definitely related to you. Beautiful pictures!
nice pictures leslie, we miss you alot, hope you come see us again soon. the pictures are so good,your ought to enter them in photo contests, you’re very good at it. brenda and i are looking forward to the next visit, when it’s warmer though.
