Do you ever write letters anymore? Not to worry, most people don’t. But I do think that writing letters is nice. I’m sure that we all enjoy getting letters, but writing them is sometimes difficult. What do I say? Is it long enough? Too long? You know what I mean? Well, I’m currently writing to a friend of mine. And I’m not a good letter writer. I got the following idea from two friends of mine: Jesseca and Mandy. Jesseca is currently writing letters to a friend and in order to spice it up a bit, she buys post cards and writes on the back of the post card. I thought, that is a great idea. But I couldn’t find any post cards I liked. Well, Mandy suggested that I cut up a picture out of an art book, paste it to some card-stock, and make my own postcards to write letters on.
So I did!
I bought this book from Barnes and Noble. It wasn’t $14.98. It was a clearance. The last one they had.

Then I ripped out pages that had art I liked.

Then I cut the art into squared of four and pasted them onto colored pieces of card-stock.

When it is all put together, then it makes a picture. (It helps if you cut straight. I simply can’t, apparently.)

Then, you write your letter like you normally would.

I number my cards so that it is easier to read. And because if for some reason not all the cards get there, then my friend knows that one is missing.

I think it is a bit more fun to get 13 cards, rather than 1 boring, old letter. And you also get pictures to post on your walls or put in your scrapbooks.

But, I like getting mail.
And this is a really good way to memorize addresses.
And support the post office by buying more stamps.

Fun idea! My cousin writes me all the time and I’m so bad at writing back. In fact, I never do. Bad! Maybe I’ll try your idea!
That really is a great idea, especially if the person you’re writing to writes back as well.
