Recently, some of the men that I go to church with, who are all single, wrote notes to the single women in order to show their appreciation for them. I think the Sunday lesson must have been on “Divine Womanhood.” We read them aloud as sisters. Some were sweet and sentimental:
Sisters – How grateful I am for each of you! You are a light to me, an example of that which I pray my future daughters will be. Thank you for standing strong, for praying, for reading your scriptures, for being modest, for being cheerful, and accomplishing much good in your own lives and the lives of those who know you.
Awww! Sweet! My little heart strings just got tugged.
Then there was this note:
River Hills Relief Society: You guys are friggin’ awesome! Thanks for making it fun to come to church. Your so spiritual!
Awwww! Sweet! And Hilarious! But what is best about this note is the pac-man drawings on it.
I think they are supposed to be little holy ghosts or something. Or maybe they are the pac-man ghosts. Who knows?
Either way, both notes made my Sunday.

It would have been fun to be a fly on the wall during the class where the guys wrote the notes.
I did not realize that “friggin” was even a word. I sure am learning alot on your new blog. Thanks for doing this. It’s been alot of fun to read your random thoughts. “Bring ‘em on!”
