So, I haven’t written on the blog in a really long time. I apologize to all my faithful readers, who may not be faithful anymore after waiting and waiting. You see, I went to school on January 9th thinking that it was going to be an ordinary Friday. However, it wasn’t. My principal called me into his office, we talked about budget cuts, and he told me that I might not have a job for the next year. Well that put all my plans on hold and for the last 40 days or so I haven’t handled the news too well. I was in full swing to buy a condo and now seemed the best time to “take the plunge.” But once I heard that, the practical, planning, stepford side of me just wouldn’t let me continue. Then I went into panic mode about finding a job somewhere else and started looking into moving, even moving out of state. But today I got the news that I will have a job for next year. Whew! So onward and upward. Now I can pick up again and move forward with my plans. I’m going to guess that this will increase my blogging, now that I might actually be doing something instead of sitting and waiting for news.

Congratulations! I’m so glad and relieved for you! So is it back to condo hunting?
I totally understand! When there’s a crisis I totally shut down and can’t accomplish anything else until it’s resolved. I’m very relieved you will have a job next year (I just read about my cousin’s husband being laid off)!
